Vimtag Network Camera


Awesome value for a pan and scan ip network camera! The #vimtag network camera has all the features you would need to keep track of your home when you're not there. The pan and scan works seamless and the quality of the video at night is excellent. The audio playback quality is good but sometimes you still hear a slight feedback depending on how close you are. I have several network cameras and I've tried a variety of different apps to control and access them. The app that goes along with this camera, was my least favorite. When I first started using it, I felt like I was guessing my way through the navigation- playing hide and go seek with finding certain features. Once I finally found my way around it, I started to be more at ease with the controls and how to find recorded photos and video clips. The quality is very crisp and clear, I still have to fiddle with the settings to get a live feed through my cell when not connected to a wifi source. On the photos you will see the back of the camera, I still need to find info on what sort of alarm plug goes in the back. I would suppose it would be the type that's hard wired into a home system. The instruction manual is pretty in detailed and their customer service can help help with any lingering questions you may still have.

I was so impressed with the quality of the video output.  The only odd thing about the monitor was the sound of a loose screw inside or something that jiggled about when shaking the tiny monitor, which doesn't have any effect on its performance.  The temperature sensor is a great addition and works perfectly. The sound from the 2-way audio is clear.
