The rings were super easy to 
switch out. My fiance` liked them 
more than I did, because of the stainless steel look being more modern than the old plastic white loops. I'm not sure which one I prefer, the stainless is a better look. (although I never really looked up there, except when cleaning) It does glide better, but it does sound louder than the plastic loops. Like rain falling on a tin roof, ching/ rattle type sound. Not a big deal, just a note on the other differences between this one and the typical plastic rings. These would be a great addition to any style bathroom, although they have a more modern look to them. Time will tell if they are truly rustproof.
So far it's a great buy and I will update with in a month on the rustproof status!
