All you need to do is to put the bolts through the metal plate and then you attach the little plastic washers onto the bolt. Stack the keys where you want to put them in and then put on the opposite plate with the additional plastic washers. You then screw it all together and that's it, a little bit hard to do because you're juggling small washers in between the plates and keys. Once you get it done it pretty convenient, having it saves a lot of space on the key ring with no noise.
