This compression knee brace is not too loose and not too tight, where it would feel like it's cutting off your circulation. It does have the typical neoprene smell when you take it out of the package. It is rather stiff and feels like it presses into the back of your knee when you walk. I tried moving it up and moving it down, but it still feels stiff when walking and slightly bunches up when squatting. (less stiff when moved further down) When squatting a lot or sitting it ends up keeping the bent shape and crease.
