It takes some configuring but once you've worked out the ins and outs it's quite a great camera. I followed the directions exactly and it connected with the wifi perfectly. The only part I'm still trying to figure out is what the green 4 port plug outlet is for in the back. 

A very important step that most people seem to skip is to make sure everything is plugged in first (network cable from camera to router, and ac adapter) then install and run the app. For recording make sure you put in a blank micro sd card, then through the app format the card. Also play with the little knob in the front of the camera to make it as focused as possible. I'm not sure yet if it has a record override where it will auto record over old videos. I wish the website gave more in detailed information about the contents and the settings. Like what is that green plug thing for, how do you zoom in and out in the video, can you auto re-record over old videos, can you set it to record on a network drive, why does it click loudly when you turn on infrared, and how do you use the Preset a call / preset a set feature?
