I really wanted to get the quilted liner for added padding and protection. The extra thickness helps protect the back area from any heavy or sharp objects when just using it for cargo and not pets. 

It's super easy to setup and comes with a big pocket for easy to access storage. The 2 included bungees give you the option to secure the sides of the liner with the cords or with the velcro strip that can be glued to the side of your trunk. The extra length towards the bottom protects your bumper from getting scratched when you take the big dogs for ah trip, or any heavy item(s). 

When it comes to having the fur babies in the back, the extra padding helps make their trip more comfortable and luxurious. Let's face it we do like to pamper our little ones, just remember this is only for the furry ones. (never stick humans of any size in the cargo area) I hope people don't actually need to be reminded of that.
